About Us
New name, better service! NCC Environmental Services was previously named The Nature Conservation Corporation.
We have improved our service offering as a leading environmental consultancy, founded in 2003. We offer a “one-stop shop” of ecological, environmental management and conservation services, specialising in the mitigation of environmental impacts to our natural environment.
Our service offering broadly includes biodiversity assessments, best practise construction environmental management and protected area management.
Initially started as a close corporation, we’ve grown tremendously and have converted to a private company in 2007. The company is 34% BEE owned and is currently a Level 2 BEE contributor company.
NCC is owned by Dean Ferreira, Kareemah Jacobs, Justin Miller and Linden Rhoda. An interesting mix of people and as Dean always says, “two of which lead with their heads and the other two with their hearts”.
We are privileged to have over 70 qualified environmental managers and nature conservators among us, specializing either in environmental management, ecology or conservation management interventions.
We are members of the International Association of Impact Assessors (IAIA) and Green Building Council SA (GBCSA) and some of our colleagues are members of the Botanical Society of South Africa and the Game Rangers Association of Africa. Our head office is in the southern suburbs of Cape Town, below the Steenberg Mountain, and we participate in national projects across southern Africa.
